Spring into SweetWater Brewing Company’s Hash Session IPA

“Laid back maxin’ relaxin’ all cool? SweetWater has a brew just for you. Hash Session IPA is low on the ABV but high on the hops – thanks to a gigantic Amarillo hash dry hop.”

Usher in the spring season with SweetWater Brewing Company’s newest seasonal, Hash Session IPA. This mellow IPA is one laid back brew with a 4.20% ABV, but is BIG… big on the hops! Hash Session IPA is brewed with massive Amarillo hop hash dry hop bringing floral and citrus notes to the sip — perfect for enjoying all night or day.

How does SweetWater Brewing get the perfect hash dry hop? Here’s the stash on the hash!

Fresh hops from the field are dropped into the hammermill while rotating arms grind ’em down and break ’em apart.

Those ground hops go into the pelletizer to package up the hop crop for brewers to use throughout the year.

The resiny oily sticky lupulin goodness from the hops is left behind and gums up the screens in the machines over time.

We scrape all that

Hash, aka Kief, off the screens, bag it up and BOOM! There’s your hop hash!

don’t float the mainstream!®

Sip on SweetWater Brewing Company’s Hash Session IPA this spring!

Malts: Maris Otter, Pilsner, Wheat, Midnight Wheat Hops: Bravo, Amarillo Hash
